ABOUT THE ARTIST

Paul Klee

Paul Klee was born in 1879 in Münchenbuchsee, Switzerland. He was a painter and graphic artist whose works reflect his unique, individualistic style. Klee's paintings are often abstract, with bright colours and playful lines that create a whimsical feel. He was a member of the "Blaue Reiter" (Blue Rider) group of artists, and his work has been greatly influenced by Cubism and Surrealism. Klee died in 1940.
